In the winter, Gulmarg has quickly become a popular destination for skiers and snowboarders from all over the world, from absolute beginners to experts. . Gulmarg, nestled among Kashmir’s gorgeous mountains, has one of the world’s tallest ski lifts and the nicest slopes in the country. Have you ever imagined yourself hurtling down massive snow slopes against the backdrop of the Himalayan Mountains? The Basic Skiing Course in Gulmarg is the finest way to learn about skiing and spend a fantastic winter in the Kashmir Himalayas. Beginners with no or little experience skiing or snowboarding will benefit the most from this course. This course lays the groundwork for skiing and snowboarding by teaching the fundamental skills needed to navigate easy to intermediate terrain. After this course, orienting and finding the balance to take short and lengthy parallel turns will be second nature to you.

Carving, edging, short and long parallel turns, rotation, edging, and Core Competencies will all be covered in more depth for the participants.
ADVANCED COURSE

We’ll spend the majority of our day exploring ungroomed powder and backcountry terrain, as well as putting your skills to the test by taking you to some hard yet safe bowl lines. With almost 1350 metres of skiable terrain, Gulmarg has a lot of potential for deep Himalayan powder skiing.
